Giant Lizard Street Art

Some things you are sure to see in Madrid, like colorful motorscooters,

And dramatic churches,

and dramatic ironwork. 

This grate over the window features a severed head warning you to go steal somewhere else. 

Is that a lizard made of giant sequins?

This wary Spanish matron won't be eaten today.  I was waiting around, entertaining myself with my camera, while my friend talked to a real estate agent.  She wants to build a house, so we looked at some land and then came into the city for lunch. 

It was her birthday, but of course the bracelet I made at midnight last night was at home on the counter.
