Some friends invited us to their pueblo to go hiking in the mountains. Lots of people live way out and commute in.
The goal of the hike was this cascade. Unlike Oman, where the water runs all year, this waterfall is seasonal. And neighbors all report to each other when it is running. I was always mystified in Oman about where all that water came from.

My friend said that nearby is a movie set of a fake town, because Italian directors came here to film spaghetti westerns.

Fluffy clouds, loads of rocks...

old walls to climb on

Nice views in the distance.
It is Maundy Thursday and when we drove by the little church in our neighborhood, I wished we had church to go to.
So we read John 13 and Wyatt got the washbowl because he knew it would make me happy to wash each other's feet. The surprising thing about the story for Wyatt is how Peter refused at first, but then got carried away and wanted Jesus to wash his head and hands as well. "Does the Bible really say that?" Yes! Happy Holy Week.
