Vigil

Nothing much going on here. Tristan sprained his ankle when he slipped on the stairs at school. I added up how many visits and contacts at various offices are involved in signing the boys up for archery: 12. I have three left on Monday. It is half price if we establish residency at the courthouse of Pozuelo. Pozuelo, by the way comes from Pozo, which means a well for water (or oil).
This is the rare, protected acebo tree.  I heard a long radio piece about the national reserves for acebos, and yes, it is holly. It is illegal to own one, but this one is growing in the median by the school. Maybe it will be the sex that does not have berries and will live a long happy life rather that being cut to bits every year. People go on holly-spotting walks and might only see three.
In praise of the i-phone camera, this is tiny fungus a tree stump and the green sprouts are the size of alfalfa sprouts. The technology to stabilize images came from NASA.
The gingerbread men are being tortured to reveal the location of the other gingerbread men. The rebels were hiding in the oven. NASA has not yet been able to stabilize children for clear pictures. But I hear they are working on it.
Meanwhile I am waiting for news about my aunt who is on life support with a bad prognosis. I see why they call it a vigil.
